According to one of the USA Administrators at the USA Criminal Intent forum, the debut of season 8 is being pushed back to 2009? No date set yet? Here's the link I found at both Major Case and The Reel. So my question is WTF?
I'm starting to think that USA has been taken over by the same morons at NBC. The official USA LOCI Board says Nov. 7 is still the official date. They're still running promos. So what's really going on?
I don't think I've been as annoyed at a network since NBC's screwed up description of Albatross in season 6. At the rate things are going for this show - the sloppy and slow promo distribution and the way they are letting the information filter out is not good. At this rate it will be lucky if we get another season!
So much for my better mood.

What? That doesn't make any sense. They're filming -- why push it back? Maybe USA has somesort of special programing that they'll be playing??? Hopefully the admin people at Major case will be able to get clear answers for us.
Plus it's pretty short notice -- here supposed to start next week.

Well, it was a Root Moderator for USA networks who posted it on the forum there. But the USA page for LOCI still says Nov. 7 and Chelsea said she saw the promo for Nov. 7 start date today while watching USA. So I don't know.
It's just weird and frustrating.

Maybe they all the sudden (don't understand why they would) decided that it would better to premier in Januaray so it's coupled with "Monk" and "Psych" (i think that's when Monk starts). I mean it does make more sense for it to air opposite one of those as opposed to "The Starter Wife," but it seems weird to decide that a week before it's set to air.
I don't know. They definitly have been promoting it on the network.
I'm not sure anyone called 'USA Admin' has ever posted before - and this information is nowhere but on the LOCI Board, which of course, still says the original date anyway - and then USA 'closed' the board. That thread isn't appearing on the 'what's new' bit any more, although it was still on the Board when I last looked - and it STILL says November 7th.
As you said, it's weird - and highly suspicious! USA have never had a 'root moderator' while I've been visiting.
Until the main USA board and the promos start to say something different, I think I'm just going to go along with the idea that it's going to start November 7. I mean how stupid is it to make that announcement on a forum and not pull the promos at the very least, you know?
Ah well, let's just keep our fingers crossed and hope someone is playing a very early April Fool's joke. *sigh*
